  1. 1

Check the child travel consent before you apply

The stamp is only affixed to an original of the established form and in good condition. A laminated document, a Soviet-era form or one with corrections will not be apostilled: you need a duplicate first.

  2. 2

Have the apostille affixed to the original

State fee USD 30 source5–30 working days 5 working days as standard; this may be extended to 30 working days if the Ministry of Justice office needs to request a specimen signature and seal from the notary for comparison.

The apostille on the child travel consent is affixed by the territorial body of the Ministry of Justice of the region where the notary who certified the document or the copy works. The state fee is paid in advance and the receipt is attached to the application.

The territorial body of the Ministry of Justice of the region where the notary who certified the document or the copy works

There is no formal link to the region where the document was issued: the apostille is affixed by the Ministry of Justice office of the region where the notary who certified the document or the copy works. Since the notary certifying a copy can be chosen anywhere, in practice you choose the region yourself.

  3. 3

Have the translation certified by the consulate of Morocco

Only the country’s own consulate accepts the translation into its language: it either translates the document itself or certifies a translation you bring. A Russian notary’s certification is not enough for that, so the translation comes after the other steps. Ask the consulate about the procedure, the time it takes and the fee.

This step is carried out in the destination country. We neither sell it nor charge for it.
