How the chain works
A notary certifies the copy or the translation, the territorial body of the Ministry of Justice certifies the notary's signature, the Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs certifies the Ministry of Justice's signature, and the consulate certifies the ministry's seal. Each link accepts the document only after the previous one, so the order cannot be changed. More in consular legalisation.
