Apostille in Moscow: where to apply, addresses, hours

- The apostille is affixed to archival statements, extracts and copies prepared by the state and municipal archives of Moscow
- The signatures of officials and the seal impressions on the certificate must be clear and verifiable against the specimens held by Главархив

- The registered address of the office is ул. Кржижановского, 13, корп. 1, but documents for an apostille are accepted at a different address, on Смоленский бульвар
- Documents are accepted and the completed apostille is collected at different times of the same day

Civil status certificates are apostilled only by the region that issued them. If yours was issued elsewhere, either apply there, or, where the destination country accepts a copy, have a notarised copy made here and apostilled by the Ministry of Justice.
