Unified State Register of Civil Status Records
The federal register holding civil status records — births, marriages, divorces and deaths — from 1926 onwards.
The register is maintained by the Federal Tax Service and holds records of state registration of civil status acts from 1926. New certificate forms carry a QR code with the record's data.
It is because of this register that a duplicate certificate can now be issued by whichever civil registry office you name in your request, rather than the one where the event was registered.
