Consular fee
The payment to a foreign consulate for the final stage of consular legalisation; the amount and the currency are set by the consulate, not by Russia.
Unlike the Russian state fee at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (RUB 350 per document as at the date checked), the consular fee is set by the receiving country, usually in its own currency, and can be many times higher.
Some consulates accept documents only through a visa centre, which charges its own service fee on top.
